Chain Link Fencing in Atlanta

Chain link doesn’t show up on mood boards, and that’s fine — it’s not that kind of fence. It’s the kind of fence that contains a 70-pound Labrador, secures a business yard after hours, or borders a sports court that needs to take a beating without ever asking for attention. In Atlanta, it’s still one of the most installed fence types by volume, and for good reason: nothing else at its price point delivers the same combination of strength, longevity, and low maintenance.

The base material is galvanized steel wire woven into the familiar diamond pattern. Galvanizing puts a zinc coat on the steel that keeps corrosion away for decades — a well-installed galvanized fence with posts set in concrete can outlast a lot of what surrounds it. For jobs where the visual matters, vinyl-coated chain link wraps that same wire in a color finish before weaving. Black is by far the most popular; it recedes into landscaping in a way that silver wire never does. Green and brown are available for settings where you want the fence to blend into a tree line or hedgerow.

If you want more than just containment, privacy slats thread vertically through the mesh and give you a semi-private visual barrier without changing the structural character of the fence. They’re a smart upgrade for backyards that face a busy street or shared open space.

Height is where chain link earns its commercial credentials. We install from 4 feet for front yards and garden separations all the way to 10 feet for business perimeters, loading areas, and sports courts. Posts go into concrete on every installation — Atlanta’s clay soil needs it, especially on taller runs where wind load is higher.

Every installation comes with a lifetime warranty on materials. Chain link doesn’t require painting, staining, or sealing — once it’s in, the maintenance checklist is essentially empty. Chain Link Fencing Questions

What's the difference between galvanized and vinyl-coated chain link?

Galvanized is the classic silver-finish wire — durable and cost-effective, and the most common choice for backyards and commercial lots. Vinyl-coated wraps the same galvanized wire in a color finish (black, green, or brown) before it's woven. The coating blends into landscaping better and adds a layer of corrosion protection on top of the zinc. Black vinyl-coated is by far the most requested color.

Can chain link be made more private?

Yes — privacy slats thread vertically through the mesh and convert a standard chain link fence into a semi-privacy barrier. They're available in multiple colors and hold up well in Atlanta's heat. Full privacy requires a different material, but slats get you to roughly 80–85% visual blockage.

What height options do you offer?

We install chain link at 4', 5', 6', 8', and 10'. Four-foot is typical for front yards and garden borders. Six-foot covers most backyard and dog containment needs. Eight- and ten-foot are common for commercial properties, sports courts, and secure storage lots.

Is chain link a good choice for dog containment?

It's one of the best — the mesh flexes instead of cracking under impact, and you can match the height to the size of the dog. We also install tension wire along the bottom for dogs that are diggers. It's the most affordable way to give a large dog a proper run.

What warranty comes with a chain link installation?

We cover materials with a lifetime warranty. The wire, posts, and hardware are built to last, and a properly set chain link fence in concrete requires very little maintenance over its life. If something fails under normal use, we stand behind it.
